Ole Millie residents in Transmara, which borders Kalenjin and Kisii on the other side have accused land surveyors of failing to solve perennial land dispute along the border.
According to the residents, the surveyors has failed to solve land disputes along the border, failing to show up at the border since the administration invited them.
This comes after chaos erupted again on Friday following land disputes between the two communities, forcing the locals to call for the government to intervene.
Richard Makori, one of the residents who spoke to this writer said that the government needs to come up with measures to help the situation more so by sending land surveyors to clearly mark out boundaries.
“The tension which is here started when two people confronted each other over a land dispute, and due to the failure by the government to put things in order, the situation is becoming worrying," said Riamichioki assistant chief Tom Metobo.
During the clashes, three people were injured and property of unknown value destroyed before GSU officers were deployed to control the situation.
