The commission’s vice chairperson Abigael Mukolwe said the forum was to discuss a parcel of land at Shauri Moyo that was allocated for the construction of civil servants houses and Administration Police line.

Mukolwe said the ministry of housing had raised a complaint with the commission that the land was grabbed by certain individuals and wanted the titles revoked.

She said the ministry made presentation and one individual who own a title deed while some failed to make presentations.

“Those claiming to have title deeds show up at the forum but declined to make presentation on how they acquired the land,” she said.

Speaking at Tom Mboya Labour College, Mukolwe said the commission will go ahead and make a determination in regard to the complaint despite some individuals failing to give presentation.

She said the commission is working in the interest of the public and their determination will be made in accordance with the law.

Mukolwe told the public to be conversant with the difference between a public land and a public utility land not to be caught on the wrong side of the law
