Njenga who was speaking in Gituamba, Gatundu North on Friday said that land grabbers are usually motivated by knowing that many parcels of land lack title deeds.

"The NLC chairman must conclude this matter of title deeds as soon as possible," said the lawmaker.

"With every land owner having a own genuine title deed, the issue of land grabbing will be unheard of," he added.

He also appealed to NLC to push group-owned land companies to give individual title deeds to their members in order to prevent killings such as the ones being witnessed at Kihiu Mwiri land buying company.

The MP further asked the commission to solve the emotive issue of land injustices as required by the constitution.

"Swazuri and his team have gone round the country listening to land disputes and now we want a lasting solution to this matter once and for all," stated the MP.
