Lari MP Mburu Kahangara has dismissed a survey done by Infotrak report on members of Parliament performance.
The survey which was released on Tuesday ranked Lari MP among the worst performing MP.
The report further listed Lari Sub County in the list of poorly developed sub counties this is despite several development projects launched in the constituency over the past two years.
“I don’t think the report is any way credible since a sample of just 100 people cannot be used to represent an entire constituency with over 150,000 people. They should educate people on how to represent the views of majority and widen the scope while carrying out such polls,” said Kahangara.
Speaking on Wednesday in Lari Sub County, Kahangara said that he has initiated a number of development projects in his area.
“In the past two years I have been in the office, I have managed to initiate over 50 major projects across Lari Sub County which will be launched before the end of this financial year. I have projects on water, roads, health facilities among others that have really changed the face of this sub county that was formerly lagging behind,” added Kahangara.
Kahangara called for well researched and reliable poll reports in order to avoid instance of image tainting which he said ‘might end up destroying ones career by disseminating wrong information.’
