NTV's The Trend show host Larry Madowo has announced his departure as the host of the popular magazine.

Madowo has been the host of the show for the last five years.

Madowo first made the revelation through his twitter account ahead of the show.

He described his time on the show as "a great run" adding that he was ready to move on to other projects.

"A few weeks ago, I informed the team that I had decided to leave @theTrendLive. It's been a great run but it's time to move on," he said.

 He, however, could not divulge more details on his exit.
