Television personality Larry Madowo has claimed that US President Barack Obama’s half-brother Malik demanded Sh50,000 to be interviewed by him.
According to Madowo, the interview was to be part of President Obama coverage visit to Kenya in 2015 but Malik declined the interview demanding the amount as compensation for time and expenses.
"When President Obama was in Kenya, I asked Malik for an interview. He asked for Sh50,000 for his 'time & expenses." Madowo wrote on his twitter account.
The Trend show host said that NTV declined to pay for the interview which prompted Malik to storm twitter with resentments.
Malik on his twitter account branded Madowo as 'Stingy',a term he has used on several accounts to attack President Obama.
On Thursday, Madowo compared the incident to when Malik “sold personal letters that Obama wrote.”
Malik has launched a series of attacks on President Obama and his wife Michelle and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
He has openely supported republican presidential candidate Donald Trump whom he says will repair the mess created by his half-brother, Barack.
