Media reports disclosed Uhuru had hired Cambridge Analytica (CA), a purported global data mining company, to oversee his re-election.It was reported that the Jubilee Party leader had also hired a British PR firm, BTP Advisers which managed his TNA campaign in 2013, for the August 8, exercise.Cambridge Analytica helped US president Donald Trump win the American presidential election last November. It allegedly also played a role in the Brexit referendum win in the UK, June 2016.Pundits say it is a "psychological warfare firm".The reports prompted NTV's Larry Madowo to question CA over the same, through social media, for clarification. The firm, answered back, dismissing the reports, saying: "We don't comment on speculation frequently published around the world claiming that we are supposedly working for this or that candidate.''"Please be aware that the recent media coverage in Kenya regarding Cambridge Analytica (CA) is full of errors,'' read part of the letter to Larry.Below is a screenshot of part of the statement by CA, as shared by the journalist.
