All the bodies of musicians who perished in Lake Victoria on Saturday after the boat they were travelling in capsized have been found.
A source on Tuesday afternoon said a combination of divers from the Kenya Maritime Authority, Kenya Red Cross Society, Fisheries Department and the county and national governments recovered the bodies.
There was a heavy stench at the scene where the last four bodies were found he said.
The stench was unbearable for locals who milled at the scene.
"Search mission for the nine Ohangala musicians halted after all the bodies were recovered," he said.
"Not many people can contain the experience at the scene."
The last four bodies were recovered after the other five were lifted out of the water on Monday.
