With only three days left to the polls, both the Jubilee Party and NASA alliance have scheduled final rallies to push their agenda.

The parties have until Sunday to conclude their rallies as directed by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), 48 hours before the polling day.

August 6 will be the end of campaigns across the country, with the Jubilee Party set to hold its final rally of the region in Nakuru.

Nakuru if fast becoming one of the most important grounds politically, having held many defining moments in the recent past.

The historic Afraha Stadium is the same place where Uhuru and Ruto unveiled the Jubilee Alliance, which propelled them to power in the 2013 poll.

NASA beat the ruling coalition to the iconic Uhuru Park gardens, where it will host its final rally before the big day.

However, before the two rallies, the opposition alliance will be at Mombasa’s Tononoka Grounds today, Friday, an area they consider one of their strongholds.

It is all systems go as the IEBC puts final touches for the day, having accredited over 600 journalists both local and international to cover the event.

With over 5,000 observers, all eyes will be on Kenya as it hosts one of the most competitive elections yet.
