As the country makes final preparations to the fresh presidential elections, three voters have gone to the Supreme Court seeking orders ssto stop the election from taking place.
The three said IEBC must be forced to cancel the Thursday voting on grounds that it is unprepared and that there are threats to its employees which may affect the manner in which the poll is conducted.
In their petition, Gacheke Gachini, Khalef Khalia and Samuel Monochi named IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati respondent.
They also claim that there is an elaborate plan by a section of the public to sabotage and frustrate the fresh election and that IEBC can therefore not guarantee a free, fair and credible process.
