NASA leaders have said their list of ‘boycotted’ products will only get longer, and that they are serious on the matter.
According to reports, some NASA leaders have not ‘observed’ boycott rules, as some continue using their Safaricom lines.
Safaricom, Bidco and Brookside were some of the main companies that the coalition urged their supporters to boycott, saying they had a hand in the bungled elections.
On Sunday, National Assembly Minority whip Junet Mohamed who spoke to a local daily said the campaign is still on.
“The products boycott is ongoing. It’s very successful. The companies are suffering in silence,” he said on the phone.
His comments come a day after Odinga said they intend on taking the boycott to a higher level.
“We’ll escalate the economic boycott until this regime goes down,” he said.
Odinga publicly moved from Safaricom to Airtel in what was seen as a move to underline the importance of their actions.
The coalition has insisted that they will not recognize president Kenyatta's win, and will push for reforms until he steps down.
Odinga said he intends to be sworn in on 12th Dec, and will not stop until Kenyatta leaves office.
