Majority of Kenyans think that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Jubilee should be re-elected as a opposed to those who feel they should serve one term.
According to strategic Africa findings, 47 percent of respondents want Jubilee to be re-elected, 40 percent say they should not be re-elected while 10 percent are not sure.
Ipsos on the other hand indicates 53 percent think Jubilee and President Uhuru should be re-elected, 37 percent feel they should not be re-elected and eight percent do not know.
Infotrak findings revealed that 49 percent are of the opinion that Jubilee should be re-elected 38 percent say they do not deserve a second term while 12 percent of those polled are not sure.
Majority of Kenyans supporting Jubilee’s to be voted in again are from are from Central, Rift Valley and Eastern regions. Whereas, majority of those opposing Jubilee’s re-election are from Western, Nyanza and Coast regions.
The research conducted by the three independent pollsters was commissioned by Citizen in a move to gage the mood of the country and the general state of Kenya ahead of the general election. The polls were carried out at the end of last week and the numbers delivered on Monday.
