Suspended Youth and Gender Affairs PS Lilian Omolo is still admitted at the Kenyatta National Hospital.
Omollo has been at the facility for two weeks after she reportedly fell in court.
According to acting KNH chief executive Thomas Mutie, Omollo condition should be private because the hospital is not allowed to give such information to the public.
“We are not allowed to release such details to the press without a patient’s consent,” Dr Mutie said.
Last week, the Directorate of Criminal Investigation John Kinoti had stated that he will appoint a private doctor to examine Omollo.
Mutie however refused to comment on the matter. DCI chief George Kinoti had said he would organise for a doctor to examine the PS later on Monday.
Omollo has been charged with abuse of office in the NYS scam that led to loss of Sh8 bilion through fictitious procurement exercises.
Currently, over 40 suspects have been remanded over the scam awaiting trial.
