IEBC announced on Tuesday that a total 9,930,315 registered voters were persons between the ages of 18-34 years.

According to latest figures released by the Commission, a total of 19,611,423 voters have been ascertained to have met eligibility of participating in the August poll.

The latest statistics constitute those of the 2013 register, continuous voter registration register and the mass voter registration register for phase one and two. Further, it capture diaspora and prison voters.

The electoral agency stated that the register of voters constitutes a 47% female representation and 53% male representation.

IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati revealed that they had expunged a total of 88,602 dead voters from the register.
