The Kenya Meteorological Services has stated that some parts of the country will continue to receive rainfall.

According to the department, within the next three days, heavy showers are likely to continue in northern part of the country, along with the Coast of the country, central highlands and around the highlands along the Rift Valley.

“Heavy showers may occur in parts of the Northwest, the northeast, the Coast, the Lake Victoria Basin, highlands west of the Rift Valley, Central and South Rift Valley, andthe Central Highlands (including Nairobi) at the beginning of the forecast period,” said Mr Peter Ambenje, Kenya Meteorological Services director.T

According to the latest five-day weather forecast covering April 14 to 18, the counties of Siaya, Kisumu,Homa Bay and Migori will continue receiving rainfall in the morning. The areas will experience showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

In the Central Highlands, including Nairobi area, cloudy mornings with a possibility of rains over few places giving way to sunny intervals affecting Nairobi, Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang’a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu and Tharaka Nithi.
