[Photo|LSK]The Law Society of Kenya (LSK) has condemned President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto, after attacked the Judiciary.While in Eldama Ravine, Baringo County, Sunday, Uhuru and Ruto attacked the Judiciary including Chief Justice, David Maraga and judges, following a High Court ruling that saw IEBC lose, presidential ballot papers printing case.The case was filed by Uhuru's opponents, Nasa, who sought that the tender awarded to Al Ghurair Printing and Publishing LLC, be cancelled over alleged relationship between the company and the government.According to Uhuru and Ruto, Judiciary favoured Nasa.However, LSK President Isaac Okerro criticised the two leaders, saying it was irresponsible for them and other Members of Parliament, to attack the Judiciary which is an independent institution."Such statements erode the confidence of judiciary, and are acts of intimidation completely inconsistent with the oaths of office, of these high ranking state officers, that bind the to respect and uphold the constitution," said Okerro, Monday.In a statement, he noted that Uhuru should allow the Judiciary, led by Maraga, discharge its duties, as per the law.
