A Nairobi-based lawyer Nyambega Mose has dismissed leaders behind the Omogusii unity saying it is a conspiracy to reclaim their lost political ground.
During a one-on-one interview with this writer in Nyamira town, Nyambega said the Omogusii community doesn't need any unity because its already united and if need be, then definite agendas should be issued.
"Are we suffering from disunity anyway? These people are sending wrong information to the world that we are not united something which may make investors shun the county. The whole thing is intended to hoodwink the electorate," said Nyambega.
The senatorial aspirant said the political unity being championed about should start with mutual respect among the elected leaders.
He said unity aims to bring people together to identify priorities in development and as such, will come automatically.
"How can you talk of unity minus the governors from the two counties? What is unity minus all the elected leaders? Let's stop ridiculing our community," posed Nyambega.
