Miguna Miguna's lawyer, Cliff Ombeta, has revealed this morning that the NRM self-declared general is somewhere locked up in a room at JKIA. According to the lawyer, Miguna Miguna sent a message and said that he was being locked up in one of the rooms at the back side of JKIA airport.
"He sent a message that he is locked in a small dark room at the backside and he is being held," said Mr. Ombeta.
"They are holding him and keeping him in custody which is against the order of the court order .so the moment they have thrown him in custody and locked him up in a room, they have imprisoned him and that means he is not free to move," he complained.
The lawyer criticised the move to lock up Miguna against the court orders and as well castigated the police force on how they handled the issue which he viewed as a responsibility of the Immigration ministry.
One journalist was injured last night as a result of the commotion that was seen at the JKIA.
"This is not a police matter, this is supposed to be an immigration matter. When the police come in and start throwing everybody out from orders from immigration people then you start to wonder who is in control," wondered the lawyer.
