An Eldoret-based lawyer who alleged the late Nominated MP Mark Too was assassinated, is missing.
Simon Lilan's brother John Talam and wife Irene said he was last seen in Eldoret town at about 11am Monday January 9, same day Too was buried at his Maziwa farm, in Kapseret.
The two said they did not know Lilan's whereabouts, for his phone went off ever since they realised he was missing.
Lilan was to attend a meeting in Ziwa, same day he went missing, according to the Star.
He confirmed they informed the police about the incident, even as they continue searching for Lilan who had declared he would be seeking to unseat Uasin Gishu County senator, Isaac Melly, through a Wiper party ticket in August.
The lawyer had warned that he had received death threats, after claiming Too's death was not natural.
