National Super Alliance lawyer John Khaminwa has asked high court Judge Luka Kimaru if self declared NRM general Miguna Miguna is dead and yet the police have not communicated to the public.
This comes after the Inspector General Joseph Boinett failed to produce the feisty lawyer as ordered by the court at 2 pm on Monday with the deadline long overdue.
Moments before the judge could give his ruling Khaminwa stood up to raise a few critical questions about Miguna Miguna.
"Is he alive? Is he dead? Is he hospitalized? My Lord these are questions that keep coming to our heads," Khamina queried.
"What has happened to Miguna Miguna? Miguna has a family, the family does not live in Kenya... the family lives in Canada. The family is anxious to know. What has happened to our breadwinner, Miguna Miguna. we as lawyers are not able to provide answers. We are receiving communication from diplomatic houses in Nairobi who also are anxious to receive communication if he is still alive or dead," he added.
The police had been given an order to release Miguna Miguna on a bond of Sh 50000 in which they failed to release him. The lawyer also cited the cruel manner which human rights layer Willie Kimani was murdered with his client and a taxi driver.
