Kakamega senator George Khaniri has asked Raila Odinga to talk to his friends who are presidents to help arm NASA supporters.
Khaniri bemoaned the deaths of NASA supporters allegedly killed by police.
He explained that the weapons would not be used to kill but in self-defense.
''Baba we are pleading with you to speak to your friends. We know you have friends who are presidents. Please talk to them to give us weapons so that we can arm ourselves. The weapons will not be used to kill but we will use them to defend ourselves.'' Khaniri said.
Khaniri's explosive rhetoric was in response to chants by supporters calling for guns to be given to them for defense.
The utterances were made in Kibera in front of a charged crowd.
