Rift Valley Regional Coordinator Wanyama Musiambo has said they will not give up on the search for the missing bodies of the Nakuru chopper crash.

Speaking on Sunday during an interdenominational prayer held at the Lake Nakuru, Musiambu assured families of the victims the search will go on.

“The government has no intention of giving up the search any time soon. I would like to assure the families and friends that we are not giving up the search until we recover everyone,"  he said.

Nakuru Senator  Susan Kihika who lost three members of her staff in the tragedy thanked members of the affected families for their patience during the ongoing search and assured them that they were doing everything in their power to recover the missing ones.

“I didn’t expect we would go this far and long in recovering the victims and the wreckage. I believed that within 48 hours we would have recovered all. But I must also thank the families for the patience, I know it is not easy but we are doing all we can to recover the bodies remaining,” she said.

In eulogizing the three young men who had worked in her office, Senator Kihika said they were focused and dedicated in their duties.

Nakuru Town East MP David Gikaria also attended.
