Leaders from across Nyamira have joined the family of Governor John Nyagarama in mourning the death of his son, Ndemo Nyagarama.

The soft spoken son of the county boss succumbed to acute meningitis on Monday evening at Nairobi Hospital.

Area deputy governor Amos Nyaribo said: "On behalf of the county government and my family, I wish to convey our profound sympathies the governor's family for the loss."

Outgoing County Secretary Eric Onchana was also among many leaders who joined the governor's family in mourning their beloved son.

"I wish to convey my condolences to the first family for the loss of their son. He was one of the emerging leaders."

Similar message was conveyed by ODM treasurer Timothy Bosire who urged politician to cease fire on county politics and join the family in mourning.

"It is time to mourn with our governor. It has been a battle well fought and we wish the family all the best."

Currently, the governor is undergoing treatment in the US over failing limbs and a family source intimates that he will be jetting back next week.
