A section of leaders from Nyamira County have asked locals to support and pray for area Governor John Nyagarama following hospitalisation of his son.
Coincidentally, Nyagarama is also out of the country for medical checkup after weeks of battling with failing limbs.
Borabu MP Ben Momanyi said his family will stand with the family of the governor adding that the situation was under the hands of God.
"Personally, I pray for the family. It is not easy when the father and the son are hospitalised. This is a trying moment," he said.
Seasoned politician Victor Swanya said: "This is not the time for us to politic. We have to pray so that God answers our plea. I wish them quick recovery."
Family sources intimated that Ndemo Nyagarama, is now under Life Support at Nairobi Hospital as doctors struggle to control his deteriorating health. He is suffering from Fungal Meningitis.
And Nyagarama, who jetted out of the country on Friday, is in the US where he is undergoing specialised treatment.
