Nyamira County governor John Nyagarama is scheduled to return into the country on Monday 25th this month from the US where he went to seek medication after he developed failed limbs
“We have missed Nyagarama since he left for the US. Let him come back to the county and as leaders will are standing with his family to ensure his son Ndemo Nyagarama who died is given a good sendoff,” said ODM party Treasurer Timothy Bosire.
West Mugirango MP Vincent Kemosi Mogaka said Nyagarama’s return will streamline operations in the county.
“We have witnessed protests in the county where workers demonstrated over delayed payment. We are hoping Nyagarama’s return will be fruitful to ensure operations at the county level are streamlined and run well for our people to get quality services,” he said.
A Wiper Party politician Victor Swanya said Nyagarama’s return is not by surprise because he is entitled to bury his son.
“Nyagarama is coming to the county to bury his son who died. He is a father who is in pain but we are wishing him well and journey mercies as he returns from abroad where he has been receiving treatment,” said Swanya.
