Speaking at Kajiado, Nkaissery said it is unfortunate some leaders use the burial ceremonies to spread political rivalry not paying attention to the bereaved families.

"We were with Ntimama at State House and later in Narok and he said he is delighted to work with the Jubilee government and party. The former Prime Minister just deceived mourners that the late didn't mean it, we should desist from taking the mourners for granted to spread malicious information," Nkaissery said.

He added that the Maa community have decided to support the Jubilee government and asked the former Premier to look for help elsewhere.

“It is wrong for any political aspirant in any level in Kenya to lie that Ntimama had called him when we all know that his heart was in Jubilee even before the party was launched.” he added.

During the burial, Raila claimed that Ntimama called him and assured him he has not ditched ODM for Jubilee sentiments which have been rubbished by several Jubilee leaders.

Nkaissery noted that Raila’s utterances were aimed at winning over the support of the Maasai community saying it was wrong for him to use a funeral to seek political popularity and instead asked him to organise his own rally to redeem his party's membership in the Maa community.
