Opposition leader Raila Odinga.Photo/BBCOpposition elected leaders from Narok and Kajiado counties have resolved to use their first salaries amounting to over Sh100 million to finance the campaign of Raila Odinga.
Led by Narok Senator Ledama ole Kina (ODM), the elected leaders will lead the campaign, will not need any funding from Raila.
"We are ready to campaign for Raila by all means and we are sure that the Maasai will unanimously deliver Narok to NASA, as it happened in 2013," said Ledama.
The resolution comes after President Uhuru Kenyatta campaigned in Narok on Saturday.
During the rally, President Uhuru Kenyatta launched an attack on the Supreme Court after the nullification of the August 8 presidential elections.
On Friday, the Supreme Court nullified Uhuru's win after NASA filed a petition.
