Learning is ongoing smoothly in all the Nyamira County schools and no teacher has been kicked out of office by parents.
According to Nyamira County director of Education Edwin Sifuna, teachers who were transferred to various schools in the County are safe.
“Teachers who were transferred to Nyamira schools are doing well and no one has kicked them out. Parents should help the new school heads to improve the performance in the schools,” said Sifuna.
He lauded parents for allowing the teachers to serve in the respective schools they were transferred to.
“I wish to congratulate parents for maintaining peace and giving a warm reception to the new teachers who will help learners prosper in their studies,” he said.
Sifuna challenged learners to work hard to achieve good results in final exams.
