Kilifi Women Representative Aisha Jumwa is the latest member of the NASA coalition and ODM brigade to come to the defense of embattled Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho amid a tense relationship with President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Jubilee Party.Speaking in Malindi during the launch of her bid for the Malindi parliamentary seat, the lawmaker accused the President of allegedly frustrating Governor Joho and his Kilifi counterpart Amason Kingi because of their tough political stand."Uhuru, if you have no business in Coast, we don't need you. Each time you come your job is to ambush Joho and Kingi," she said amid cheers from the public.According to Jumwa, the President has no agenda for the Coastal people and is only trying to hoodwink voters using unrealistic projects.Jumwa's remarks come at a time when Joho's troubles seem to be far from over with his bank accounts now being a subject of investigation by the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), a move that may further destroy the already frosty relationship with the President.
