Speaking in Tassia, Embakasi on Tuesday, Ruto and other Jubilee members said the government is determined to delivering a free and fair election in August.

Ruto further accused Odinga of being a perennial whiner, who will again lose in this year’s polls, adding that he is avoiding issue-based politics.

“Raila na team yake wamelalamikia mabo ya IEBC, mambo ya EVR, mambo ya ballot papers, na sasa wanalalamikia sijui mambo ya kuiba uchaguzi, mimi nataka kuwaambia hawa waangwana waache maneno yao, kwa sababu wanajua hawana sera, hawana track record, hiyo ni siasa duni, (Raila’s team have complained of IEBC, EVR, ballot papers and now they are saying of rigging elections. I want to tell them to talk on issue-based politics),”

Odinga has alleged here is a plot by the Jubilee administration to rig elections using top security apparatus.

The leaders are now accusing the NASA leaders of causing friction, as the country readies for the August polls, with only 48 days remaining.

“Wawachane na wanajeshi wetu, we have a professional military in Kenya, which has a track record of professionalism,” he added.

The DP claims that the claims are a clear indication that the opposition was not ready for the polls, and that they have already chickened out.
