Busia county boss, Governor Sospeter Ojaamong has advised NASA co-principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula to leave their leader Raila Odinga alone and mind their own business.
Through a post on Twitter, Ojaamong asked the two Luhya leaders to let President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga work together in bringing development in the country after their historic handshake and wait for their time.
"NASA co-principals Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi should leave opposition leader Raila Odinga alone and mind their own business. The two leaders should wait for their time. Uhuru and Raila are now working together following the symbolic handshake," Ojaamomg said.
Ojaamong further urged the leaders to put aside tribal politics and work together with the government towards ensuring development and unity among the Kenyan communities most so the Luhyia community.
He joined hands with Devolution CS Eugene Wamalwa who is also a Western Kenya native in pushing for peace and togetherness in the entire western region.
"With that now behind us we need to focus on development in the next five years and forge a united and peaceful country. I wholly support Devolution Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa's call for unity in Western Kenya aimed at bringing all communities together," he added.
Ojaamong's sentiments come after Mudavadi and Wetangula alienated themselves from the NASA coalition pledging to never work together with Odinga following his handshake with President Kenyatta, a move they said was not inclusive.
