A university of Nairobi lecturer was on Friday charged for receiving a bribe from students in order to award them marks.
Dr Vincent Mbindo Kathumo appeared before Milimani Nairobi, anti-corruption court where he denied receiving a Sh3000 bribe.
It is alleged that he received the bribe from Mr Duncan Kibet
The alleged offence was committed on January 18, 2017 at the Faculty of Agriculture in Uthiru
He was released on a cash bail of Sh80,000 or an alternative bond of Sh100,000 with one surety.
