The lecturers strike yesterday entered its third week after the government failed to meet the demands of the Universities Academic Staff Union (UASU).
Despite a series of meetings between the lecturers and stakeholders, their talks have beared no fruits as their grievances are yet to be sorted out.
In Maseno University, lecturers have boycotted classes until the government meets their grievances.
Speaking to a Hivisasa writer at Maseno University, a lecturer from the institution said that classes will only resume after their demands are effectively addressed.
"All classes will remain unattended until the lecturers strike is officially over. We stand in solidarity with our fellow lecturers in this strike till the Government meets our grievances," he said.
