As learning in public universities crisis enters the third week, Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed has been challenged to resign.
According to the Secretary General of KUSU, Kisii University branch, Moses Nyandusu , Amina does not understand her new role in education docket.
“As lecturers, we are not comfortable with her in the ministry. She is incompetent and resignation is the only remedy," he said at Kisii on Wednesday.
"It is wrong to lie that the strike is illegal yet we haven't been paid our CBA. This government must find better ways of handling the crisis."
The charged Nyandusu further pleaded with President Uhuru to intervene on the ongoing strike so that learning in the universities can resume .
His sentiments comes at a time the lecturers have vowed to continue with the strike to push for their 2017-2021 collective bargaining agreement to be implemented,
