Professor Sammy Kubasu UASU Masinde Muliro University Science and Technology (MMUST)secretary general (PHOTO/www.the-star.co.ke)University lecturers have refuted claims that they are working with the National Super Alliance (NASA) to frustrate learning in all public universities in the country.The lecturers say social media platforms claim that they were working with NASA to sabotage Government operations are propaganda seeking to divert their attention from seeking better remuneration.UASU Secretary General- MMUST, Sammy Kubasu said they will only go back to lecture halls after the 2013-17 CBA has been honored.“We will not succumb to political gimmicks that lecturers are working with NASA. Let Jubilee and NASA solve their mess and stop dragging us into their political problems,” said Prof Kubasu.Kubasu said some Government officials were using social media to taint the dons in a bad light that they were being used by NASA that why they called the strike, arguing that the strike was planned as per the law when the opposition had not asked their supporters to boycott certain products.
