[Photo/capitalfm.co.ke]University lecturers are expected to meet with the government today to negotiate their pay at the Jacaranda Hotel in Nairobi.Officials from the Federation of Kenya Employers are also expected to attend the meeting.The talks are expected to be concluded by January 31 and an understanding reached by all sides involved in the delicate discussions.Lecturers announced the end of their strike last week after the signing of a deal.Dr. Constantine Wesonga, UASU secretary-general, confirmed that his side would be attending the talks.
''Our hope is that the talks will be constructive and that all the outstanding issues will be resolved,'' Constantine Wesonga said.
