Former National Transport Safety Authority Chairman Lee Kinyanjui was Friday morning cleared by IEBC ahead of the August 8 election.

Speaking after being cleared Kinyanjui who will be seeking to be elected Nakuru governor in the August 8, election promised to abide by the elections laws calling on his competitors to also do the same so as to maintain peace.

Others that were cleared by the election body are; Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant on an independent ticket Peter Kenneth, Kirinyaga gubernatorial aspirant Ann Waiguru and Miguna Miguna.

Peter Kenneth also called for a free and fair election saying his campaigns will be issue oriented. Waiguru promised to address issues of farmers as well as the health sector in Kirinyaga once elected.
