The National Transport and Safety Authority, NTSA, chairman Lee Kinyanjui will quit his position in September to focus on his bid to grab the Nakuru gubernatorial seat.
Speakign during the celebration of 27 years of success for St Francis School In Lare, Lee said there is a lot to be achieved if Nakuru gets good leadership.
He hit out at Governor Kinuthia Mbugua saying that no meaningful development had been achieved in the county since he came to power.
“Despite the county getting huge allocation from the national government value for the money is yet to be realized especially in rural areas.Lare is one of the most productive areas in the county but has very poor rural access roads which are under the county government,” said the former Nakuru Town MP.
Kinyanjui pledged to involve local leaders and the community in decision making in order to know which projects to give prominence to.
He also called on students to avoid being carried away by luxurious activities and instead focus on building a strong foundation for their future.
