NASA leader Raila Odinga is set to meet his lawyers this week after IEBC declined to remove his name from October 26 ballot. This follows Raila Odinga's recent announcement of withdrawal from the presidential poll that is scheduled for October 26.

This move has thrown many Kenyans into confusion with many unanswered questions. His lead counsel, James Orengo disclosed yesterday that their boss is seeking their advice to decide on the next move now that IEBC have maintained that Raila will still be on the ballot despite his withdrawal. The electoral agency says Raila is yet to withdraw officially his candidature by signing form 24A. Raila had written to the IEBC on his withdrawal after the body failed to consider NASA irreducible minimum demands including, but not limited, to removal of IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba who they have since accused of bungling with August elections. On Sunday, Orengo said NASA will not participate in the scheduled poll unless malpractices committed in the August elections are addressed. "We know there is a big plot to include the name of Raila on the ballot papers We still maintain that there is no election on October 26 even if they include his name. We have said they should open the servers," stated Orengo.
