An upcoming documentary titled ‘KadengeNaMpira’ will see the legendary footballer Joe Kadenge make a trip to Manchester United.
Kadenge, the legendary footballer of his time will make the maiden trip, which will be sponsored by Black Arrow, a US football media firm.
The documentary will feature the life and times of the iconic footballer, who was the highlight of Kenyan soccer in his days.
The former AFC Leopards and Harambee Stars was at his prime in the 1970s and 80s and is considered the best winger Kenya ever produced.
The footballer has however been in bad health in the last few years, at one point calling on President Kenyatta to visit him, a wish that was granted.
“In Collaborating with Manchester United, Black Arrow is honoured to represent him and help fulfil his lifelong dream of visiting Old Trafford,” said communication from Black Arrow in a statement.
They further revealed that Kadenge will join Manchester United in their anniversary activities in February, but finer details will be announced in Nairobi on Wednesday.
