Supreme Court Judge Issac Lenaola has written to non-governmental organizations (Ngo's) coordination board seeking detailed information of the organization that filed a petition before The judicial service commission to investigate his alleged misconduct.
Lenaola through his lawyer Donald Kipkorir wants the executive director for NGO's, Fazul Mohammed to give him a detailed information about the Angaza Empowerment network whose boss Derrick Malika filed the petition.
The details required include the top officials of the organization, the time it was registered, its agenda , bank accounts and their numbers and signatories.
“To enable our client to prepare his defense, we demand the following information pursuant Articles 35 and 50 of the constitution. Who were the initial subscribers to the NGO constitution, what the management structure of the NGO is and who occupies them,” the letter read.
This will be used as part of his defense by Lenaola once summoned by the JSC commission.
Mr ngumu of Angaza empowerment network filed a petition last week before The JSC demanding Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu and Justice Issac Lenaola be investigated on their alleged misconduct during the hearing of the presidential petition.
