[Photo/Kinuthia Mbugua]Former Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua, has been appointed as the Comptroller at State House.The politician who withdrew his candidature to secure Nakuru gubernatorial seat in favour of Lee Kinyanjui, has replaced Lawrence Lenayapa.While making the announcement at State House on Friday, President Uhuru Kenyatta said he had appointed Lenayapa as Kenya’s ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.Uhuru also retained some of the cabinet secretaries such as Henry Rotich (National Treasury), James Macharia (Transport and Infrastructure) Fred Matiang’i, (Interior and Co-ordination of National Government, and acting Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Education), Charles Keter (Energy) and Joe Mucheru (ICT).President nominated former Turkana Senator John Munyes, former Marsabit Governor Ukur Yattani and former Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko to Cabinet.
