AFC Leopards head coach Rudolfo Zapata has exuded confidence that his charges will see off Tanzanian side Singida FC when the two sides meet on Tuesday afternoon at the Afraha Stadium Nakuru for the ongoing Sportpesa Super Cup.
Speaking to local soccer website, Futaa after a training session, the Argentine urged his players to concentrate on the match considering it is a knockout tournament.
"A knockout match is different from a league match and so how you prepare and approach the match is very different. We have prepared well for this game, my players understand how important this game is and I know they will rise to the occasion, we have to show why we are one of the biggest teams in Kenya," he said.
The Kenyan giants will, however, have to contend with the absence of their skipper Duncan Otieno and Michael Kibwage who are away on national duty with Harambee Stars in India.
Victory for Ingwe could see them set a date with perennial rivals Gor Mahia who qualified for the semi-finals after walloping Zanzibar side Jeshi la Kujenga Uchumi (JKU) 3-0 on Sunday.
The winner of the tournament will pocket Ksh 3 million aside from playing against English Premier League side Everton FC at the Goodison Park in a later date.
