Sokka25east.comA lone goal courtesy of Whyvonne Isuzza was all that AFC Leopards needed to put aside a hapless Ulinzi Stars at the Afraha Stadium on Tuesday.Leopards came into the match knowing only a win would save them from the relegation they were staring at following a string of dismal performances.But after halftime, the Robert Matano-led charges scored the all important goal when Isuzza rose behind the Soldiers defenders to connect to a Majjid Musa's cross on the 63rd minute that left Ulinzi custodian Timothy Odhiambo beaten.Ingwe stuck to the sole goal even as the soldiers battled to level matters in the end to end encounter.The soldiers, though without their prolific striker Stephen Waruru will only have themselves to blame following a series of missed chances.The win now catapults Ingwe to 10th on the log with 36 points with Ulinzi maintaining their 4th position ahead of a daunting task against on-form league leaders Gor Mahia next weekend at their Nakuru turf.
