AFC Leopards have allayed fears concerning their goalkeeper Gabriel Andika after the shot-stopper suffered head injuries following a collision with Nakumatt midfielder Clinton Kasiavuki.

Andika had to be substituted following the incident and there were fears that he could miss Ingwe's last two league matches.

However, information on the club's website indicates that the former Western Stima custodian did not suffer head fractures as earlier feared but sustained minor tissue injuries and will soon be back in action.

"Gabriel Andika was injured in our match today against Nakumatt FC after a collision with an opponent at Moi International Sports, Kasarani and was rushed to a hospital. After scans on the head, doctors found no fracture. He sustained tissue injuries which are expected to heal in the next few days, read the statement from the club.

Leopards who currently occupy the twelfth spot with 39 points will be hoping for a win against an already relegated Muhoroni Youth and surprise package Chemelil Sugar.
