Kenya Premier League side AFC Leopards will face with reigning Madagascar champions Fosa Juniors in the Caf confederation championship for 2018 season.
The 13 times Kenyan champions are expected to host the Malagasy giants in the first leg of the continental campaign between March 9 and 11,2018 while the second leg is scheduled a week later in Antananarivo.
Ingwe made it to the championship courtesy of their GOtv shield victory against Kariobangi Sharks and should they beat Juniors then they could set up a date with the winner between Ngazi Sports of Cameroon and six-time Mauritania champions AS Port Louis 2000 who last season dumped the then Kenya representatives Tusker Fc out of the tournament.
The draw for the preliminary rounds of Caf interclubs was conducted on Wednesday, December 13 during the Caf inter clubs committee meeting in Cairo, Egypt.
The draw also saw Kenyan champions and fellow Caf representatives Gor Mahia land Equatorial Guinea side Leones Vegetarianos.
Kenyans teams have always endured early in the continental bonanza and Ingwe will be hoping that this will be their time to make a historic mark both in the country and even in Africa.
