Photo Caption/AFC Leopards new signing Prince Ako (right) with a club official when he signed a one year contract with the Kenyan giants.(Soka.co.ke)Kenya Premier League giants AFC Leopards continued their quest to build a formidable side ahead of the 2018 season after signing Nigerian Henry Uche and his Ghanaian counterpart Prince Ako for a one-year deal each.Club chairman Dan Mule said the two West Africans impressed in their trials with the 13-times champions that prompted the club to hand them the one-year deal with a possible extension."The two players have signed a one-year contract each.They have been training with us and coach Robert Matano is happy with their input.We have signed them a head of next season," he told local sports website Goal.com.The duo became the seventh and eighth signings for the GOtv shield champions who have since signed a goalkeeper, Ezekiel Owade from Nakumatt, the Western Stima duo of Ezekiel Otuoma and Robert Achema, Thika United's Wilson Anekeya, former Gor Mahia striker Ezekiel Odera and Ugandan defender Baker Alukoya.Other than the premier league, Ingwe will also be participating in the Caf confederations in 2018 and have been paired against Madagascan giants Fosa Juniors in the preliminaries.Ingwe had a disastrous 2017 campaign in the Kenyan elite league that at one time saw them flirt with relegation. They, however, managed to stage a fight back and ended up finishing eighth with 45 points after 34 outings.
