Since they suffered the same consequences as any other Kenyan, the MP's and the senators who were arrested over hate speech crimes have now a duty of moving around  the country to try and unite Kenyans.

It is now some time since the government officials were being heard, shouting abusive words from one ethnic group to the other, hate speech surrounding the nation and even giving a leeway to the various communities to engage in violence against each other.

They should take a lesson that the treatment given to a common Kenyan is the same treatment that can be given to a government official who does not control his or her utterances.

Having have passed through the cells, the legislators have now come out to give the public their taste of experience over hate speech, as they go around the country to educate the public on the importance of remaining united as a country not as ethnic groups.
