The party leader of TIP movement Kalembe Ndile has called on the opposition party Cord to consider implementation of correcting the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) from the offices' at Lowest level.

Speaking on Monday during a press briefing in Machakos town, Kalembe stated each IEBC commissioner needed to be grilled and punished for individuals mistakes.

"Myself I lost votes in Kibwezi but I came to court and after a second tallying I was the deserved winner so the chairman of IEBC was not to blame in the said situation," said Kalembe.

Kalembe further called upon the parliament to implement tough laws on the individuals found engaging in rigging or altering covotes in the coming 2017 elections. 

"IEBC should be corrected from the polling stations. Also laws need to be implemented such that anyone found engaging in altering the votes is sentenced to a tough ten year jail term as it has resulted to war in the past, "he added.

Kalembe has since 2013 been a supporter of the Jubilee government following a presidential appointment to the National Water Regulatory Board.
