Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga has been told to give Kisii County ODM MCAs a chance to give directions against the two Kisii MPs who came back to the party on Monday at Bomas of Kenya after showing interests of ditching the party for the Jubilee Party.
According to a section of Kisii county MCAs, Kitutu Chache MP Richard Onyonka and Bomachoge Chache MP Simon Ogari should face Kisii county governing council to be forgiven.
Addressing the press in Kisii town on Monday, Bomorenda MCA John Ombati urged Raila Odinga to give them an opportunity to decide whether the two MPs will rejoin ODM or not.
“We respect our leader Raila Odinga but the two MPs who showed interests of ditching ODM for Jubilee should face us for forgiveness and not direct forgiveness from our leader Raila Odinga since we understand the ground,” said Omabati.
The two MPs have been working for Jubilee for a span of months but on Monday they said they wanted to rejoin the party.
